Student Scholarships

Ten scholarships will be made available to students currently enrolled in MLIS programs to attend the 2019 Film Librarians Conference hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences’ Margaret Herrick Library, May 15-17, 2019, in Los Angeles, CA. These scholarships will waive the conference registration fee only.

Requirements

Please submit a short essay (two paragraphs maximum) in the body of an email describing your studies and how attendance at the conference would benefit your professional growth. Essays must be submitted to filmlibrarians@oscars.org with the subject line: “FLC 2019 Student Scholarship Essay”.

Deadline

Entries must be submitted by the end of the day, Thursday, February 28, 2019. Decisions will be announced March 4, 2019.
